. Introduction/Characteristics NEXTEL-Velvet-Coating 811-21 is a black special paint to achieve mat

and absolutely non-dazzling surfaces. Due to finest spheric pigments

the absolutely light-diffusing surface absorbes 98 % of the light,

independent of the angle of incidence.

Unlike conventional mat finishes NEXTEL-Velvet-Coating 811-21 not

susceptible to burnishing. Optical properties remain unchanged, even

after intense cleaning with soft brush or sponge. Moreover NEXTELVelvet-Coating

811-21 is heat and condensate resistant as well as

highly elastic and impact resistant.

2. Range of application NEXTEL-Velvet-Coating 811-21 is used whenever light reflection is to

be avoided, e.g. for instrument scales, optical and scientific appliances.

6. Substrate pretreatment NEXTEL-Velvet-Coating 811-21 is applied directly onto the

appropriately cleaned / pretreated substrate, e.g. metal, thermoplastics

and duroplasts.

For difficult substrates like aluminium and to improve adhesion,

mechanical resistances and corrosion protection, use of NEXTELPrimer

5523 is recommended.
