Omron’s complete line of long-distance, long barrel, cylindrical style, inductive proximity sensors are used for detecting ferrous metals under standard conditions using high-frequency oscillation and resist heat, chemicals, and water better than rectangular sensors and provide up to twice the sensing distance in comparison with CENELEC standards. This longer sensing distance technology decreases costs with maintenance in reducing damage by avoiding collisions between the work piece and sensor.
